i was talking with one of my friends and he said that he had a s10 with a 350 in it. i listened and smiled and acted as though i was interested in his deathtrap. later on i asked a few people about it and they said it could be done if the inner fenders were cut out but he says that it is all perfectly normal everywhere but it has a 350. so i was wondering if this is a possible feat or if he is full of s***.

Yeah, one of my friends dropped one in an old body style s-10. It looks a bit cramped in there but it fits. :p

it is very possable, people say it is just as easy as putting in a 4.3l in place of the 2.2 4 banger

We have also made one fit in a new model S10. It will tear the truck apart in no time tho.

I had one. The S-10 did not come stock with the 350. In order to get it to fit I had to shape the firewall back a little and raise the tranny hump in the floorboard. The fenderwells were cut because one of the header tubes on the Hooker headers at the time went around the outside of the frame rail. Newer headers for this conversion stay inside the frame. My 355 S-10 was my favorite of all my hot rods.

None of the S10s ever came stock with a 350. And it is very possible to put a V8 into one. I would rather just stick a blower on a 4.3 though.

yes it can be done, a guy I rent a garage with put one in his s10 and his s10 blazer as well, and drives them daily

the 4.3 in an s10 is a 350 with 2 less pistons, meaning all the demtions are the same hight and width its just alittle longer. it uses the same water pump and any tranny that will bolt up to a 4.3 will bolt up to a 350. so it is very easy to do. u only need special headers to go around the steering shaft and difrent motor mounts

It's called a small block...the manager at the local NAPA has a S-10 with a 350 in it and it's fast as h*ll.

I helped stuff a 383 stroker in a B2200 so I am sure it will fit in a s-10......
