I am doing a build for a r6 or a 600r engine in a raptor or yfz frame. So i found a good deal on two things i found a yfz frame everything but the motor, tires and handlebars for 500 bucks. Then i was looking on eBay for an r6 motor (which is what i was originally planning on only using for this build) but then i came across a great deal on a running yzf 600r engine. I'm wondering what engine and what frame would fit the best with each other, requiring less cutting and welding. I do have the tools and access to do this but I'm just wanting to see which one would require less frame modification. Any other tips would be great!

At a glance it looks like there's more room in the raptor frame.

Raptor would have more space, and enough space is vital. Just stay patient, rushing will only force compromises. Compromising even small things on a hybrid eventually lead to future fixes. It's worth taking your time and keeping things simple.

Yeah i think the yfz is scratched out for me. Now I'm gonna patiently wait and look for a nice raptor roller to come along. I know which engine I'm gonna use now, i found a sweet deal on a 07 cbr1000rr with ECU, full harness, tank, injectors, air box, etc for under 1k
