Rap 250 cracked spindle fix?

Has anyone came up with a good upgrade or fix for the spindles on the 250 that seem to crack and break? Is there a 450 spindle that will work without changing stem and tie rods? Thanks

Hello,

I believe the fix is to weld the back of the spindle where the bolt hole comes through for the brake rotor guard. I've seen people weld a small gusset in also.
