I am thinking about buying a set of used 18.5 (I think) turf tamers on ITP rims. There is at least 60% tread I would say and the rims look pretty good. Here's the problem, I have the 250ex......am I gonna be screaming through the gears due to the small tires? I don't have sprockets to change so I am SOL there! Any help on this I would appreciate. The guy wants $140 I think.

By the way.....I think I shoulda gone with the 20's instead of the 22's on the rear Razrs. I hope it was all the mud on the track, but mine seem to bog too much to get going...after I was moving I was hauling...getting there way to slow there. Dang me!

Well if you are getting 18.5 tamers you are getting somthing no one has ever seen before. There is no such thing.

They come in 18s 20s and 22s.

I woulg geuss ya mean 18s.

If will change your top end and bottom end.

More Bottom End and Less Top End.

As for the $1140. If ya buy them you are gonna get ripped off pretty bad.

Check out www.rockymountainatv.com

They have Douglas .190s with 18 inch tamers for 135 plus shipping.

Get new ones before used. If they have 60% that means the dimples in the tread is just about gone...Don't buy them. They are a rip off.

I agree with Nacs, look at rocky mountain and get a set of 20 inch tires. I rode a 250ex with 18's on it and it seemed to have the gear spacing way to close together and it needed to be shifted to often compared to stock.
