So you think your starter clutch is bad...

This quad came in for a bad starter clutch, and I found this. I've heard of this in few other cases, but this is the first one I've seen personally.

What are you showing thats worse than the starter clutch being bad?

The starter clutch is good...it's the reduction gear that's spinning on the shaft.

Actually the starter clutch is bad on this too. I'm thinking that the starter clutch engaging erratically is what causes the gear to break loose.
