Rebuilding a relic

About a year ago I scored a lt500 and lt250 in a package deal. Took the Zilla to glamis, had a great day until I took it to the 4pm drags...... At the end of the first run it seized damn it, you would think it would have burned down racing up comp all day but nooooo... Fast forward got some extended metal tech a arms +1+1, trx450 shocks, z400 spindles/hubs/yfz calipers, ltr450 rear hubs (i had all honda pattern rims/tires), new oem rod kit, fresh 86.5 Wiseco piston/bore, ported, squish modded power head, SBLT airbox adapter/k&n/filter skin, new seat front bumper x ring chain f&r sprockets, stick stabilizer roll pegs....added a HPR 19 pipe &silencer

Received my HPR top end yesterday, ported/ears modded cyl, fresh 86.5 wiseco piston modded, o ringed & squish modded head, tm38 &intake manifold modded, thrust washers rm brg cometic gaskets orings extra jets. Still gotta get longer rear cyl base studs. Looking forward to seeing it at glamis again, working on some lights still & scored a second 500

This is a super-super clean bike, I wouldn't have changed a thing! I have a softspot for these LT500's. Dreamed of one when I was a kid! Its on the "list"... LOL!

Test ride reveals the true nature of a modified 500 two stroke... Violent & Scary! Still have to get a V3 reed & try out the HPR modded tm41

I even called the owner of the C&J framed LT500 to see if I could score it.. Mike said he would entertain offers. Oh man doesn't sound cheap!
