What starter button to use?

Getting rid of the light / start cluster. What are y'all using as a start button?

Well I just used a little push button toggle switch type thing. It's not like and a/b switch. It's an actual button that I wired up and made a custom mount. Really cheap and only a few buck. But there are way better ways to do it. I wonder if you could use a starter switch off of a ttr 125. It would most likely work good and able to mount it on the bars

I wired up a KX dirtbike kill switch on my 400 for a starter button, works great. You can use other buttons but you have to make sure you get one that is a normally open circuit, that way it doesn't constantly try to start the engine the instant you wire it up. I wouldn't recommend a Honda CR style though, I tried that first and I think they are normally closed because it kept turning it over until I hit the button.
