i'll be heading up to the dunes with my 426 in late july, its got a uni filter.. and i was just wondering since i have a foam filter, do i need an outerwears pre-filter? thanks!

You should be ok. Id clean it everyday if you can.

be careful, its very hot out there and the 400 can overheat. Make sure you keep it cool.

run a prefilter, its cheap insurance.

I actually just got back from Coral Pink sand dunes. I have a uni filter with outerwears airbox cover. Didn't find any sand in the box. But i would defiently recommend a prefilter of some sort.

alright, thanks.. i made custom airbox, with no lid, but i wasnt sure, i was planning on running it anyways.

Make a lid from panty hos. Free prefilter :muscle:
