Need info on valve lash 440ex?

Hey, i have a older mid to late 90's 440ex. Has a pretty built motor in it. It's a old race bike that the the guy upgraded to a new one.
My question is that it seems that it is getting pretty "tickey" sounding. Seems like it use to sound really deep and loud exhaust sounding
and now it seems like there is alot of valve ticking. Is it possible my valvelash is to much? Or is there another possibility? Does any body know what the valve lash would be? I think it has a hot stage 2 cam and a 11.5 to 1 piston in it. Thanks for any info!

The tick is from being to lean, my 440 with a stage 2 cam and oversized valves barely ticked at all after i jetted everything, I used a 210 main jet and a 42 pilot jet with a stock carb and a 220 main and 50pilot for a 450r carb.

Also header crush gaskets need to be replaced after you remove the header, they leak and will tick if not replaced.
