Hey, so i've been in the market for a crossover quad and i've pretty much narrowed it down to acouple options. I've been looking at either a new Arctic Cat XC 450I and Kymco Maxxer 450I....specs are all about the same on them both, but cant find HP numbers on the AC, whereas the Maxxer is set at 33HP...dry weight is 10 pounds difference, but the width is 47 and change on the XC and 43 and change on the Maxxer...both have aftermarket backings for pipes and whatnot of some sort... just looking to see what people think of them and whatnot...seems like all the reviews have been more in the favor of the Kymco... the other option is getting a Late 90's Wolverine for cheaper and pimping it out abit and running a Warrior clutch on it for a fully manual 4x4 sportish quad... what do you guys think???

Take a look at used Brute Forces more motor than you'll need and priced right. My old 650 would go just about anywhere a 450 sport quad could if not more places. My buddy has a Wolverine it' way overrated. You can make a brute pretty sporty that's same quad Penland raced before switching to Can-ams.
But if money isn't a issue go Can-am!!

What about a Honda 700XX. Independant suspension and plenty of power makes it an awesome choice for strictly trail riding in my opinion
