I purchased my first 250r at 19 years of age, and with the help of my dad, have managed to complete the quad, but have found out that the carb is a round slide from a 85 not the flat slide I need. I have rebuilt the carb, adjusted the float as much as I would like to and the thing still floods at idle. After reading and researching, the 85 carb has issues, so I'm looking for a completely stock 86 to 89 carb so I can bolt the thing on and actually ride it without chasing fuel/level problems all the time. If anyone has a stock carb that would work with my completely stock motor and is willing to sell it, I would greatly appreciate it.
