250r engine problems

i recently just built my first 250r before we took it apart it ran fine but now that we have everything back together we started it and it was running fine but in a couple mins it would bog out when we gave it gas we later started it cuz it was flooded and we got it running a couple times but would keep bogging out everytime we gave it gas we think its the reeds that might be bad in it but we don't know any help would be greatly appreciated

What exacty did you take apart? Entire engine top to bottom? Carb? What carb size? What pipe? Whats jets and needle?

we took everything apart and the only thing we took apart on the motor was the head to change a gasket and the pipe is stock and the carb is from a 1985 act 250r so is the motor but we ordered reeds and a carb rebuild kit hoping it runs after that

we found out it needs a new carburetor cuz we just rebuilt it and its still not running right
