In a debate keep ltr or go ktm

Looking for advice guys. Im looking at getting a 450sx pretty much stock. Im coming off of a fully built mx ltr450.
All i keep hearing from people around me is how expensive and problematic the ktms are. just looking for advice and suggestions..
What are common problems and how much is a standard high comp top end rebuild ect, Just general info

im looking for a ltr right now and have a ktm i love my ktm thing has more power then anything i have but my local dealer closed around a year ago if you looking for a ktm let me know
