trade the 05 trx450 for a 400ex?
I can relate to that, mine 02 needs new axle bearings and I've been down about a month and waiting is killin me! Especially this time of year when the weather is perfect. Sorry to hear about your loss and I hope you get back on a 400 again! Like the above poster said, trade in that 450 for one! :D

What didn't you like about the 450R?
You had a hell of a nice 400.

it was one of a kind and when i raced it i could keep up with 450s no problem soon as i get the 450 i wreck myself and loose all confidence in racing

Don't give up hope! I got in a bad crash flat track racing motorcycles back in 2010, broke my back and a few other things and was finished for the rest of that season. And as discouraged as I was, I got back in the saddle when the season opener began in 2011. Once you get on another 400 I am sure it will come back, like me, the 400 seems to be your ideal machine. I still race bikes (although this is my final season) I have migrated to 4 wheels for everything else like trail riding and really fell in love with the EX for the kind of riding I do. Hope you stay with it!
I enjoyed your Youtube vids and was subscribed, bummed to hear no more 400x racing vids.

That is a bummer, another example of someone who thinks they need a 450R and then realize the old 400EX was just fine. It happens a lot and I almost fell into the same trap until I decided to keep the 400ex and modify it.

Same here sold my 400ex for a YFZ. Dont get me wrong YFZ is a badass quad, but not exactly the best fit for what I do.
