Hey guys. So I have never had to have a cylinder bored...I have always had to get a new cylinder when I have had quads apart due to major major issues lol. Anyway, the local shop charges $50 to bore a cylinder...I don't need a sleeve do I? I am not sure what a sleeve is actually used for. I am thinking about going with a JE piston, and I have to buy another crank as well as crank bearings.

If you have a stock sleeve in your cylinder now you won't need a new one, they just bore your stock one out to whatever you want.

It is currently .020 over
.020 is a 402, you can easily go up to a 407 .040 over.
Dont waste bore sizes.
