But. I have found one from a 1987+ for 50$. What other parts will I need for to bolt it to my '86?

you will need the carrier of course, and i think the dogbone link is a little different length. but should bolt up no problem. I had a buddy that ran a 85 swingarm on an 87

87-90 swingarm is a direct bolt in, add a 3/16" spacer on each side of the dogbone where it bolts into the swinger. Did it with mine, much stronger than the 85-86 piece, just takes longer for chain adjustment and its significantly heavier.
