My Buddy has an 02 400ex, he tells me everytime he trys starting it it blows the fuse. He bought a brand new harness to try and that didn't help. He wants to try a starter next. I told him I'd get some ideas before he spends unneeded money. Thanks

Bare wire rubbing somewhere. Check around all the major connections (battery terminals, starter pole, etc.) and see if any are touching another wire.
