Ok i found this Article online about rejetting a quad...
id like to get the feedback from someone owning a 400ex about these procedures
would this be a good way of tuning my carb without any o2 sensor?

that is a 2 stroke based jetting procedure.
Go with the biggest main jet method and work your way down until the atv fully revs out.

i know i need to Up my Pilot jet to a 42 im at 3.5turn out on my mixture screw and without the choke it starts but i had to increase the stopscrew a bit im wondering if its not too open to the point that the main jets starts to kick in with the pilot?
i now know that im runing 142 dynojet so its around 150 155 keihin... ill be getting my jet kit in a few days so by the time its here im playing with the carb to understand the tuning process... if i can tune the best out of my current setup i think ill get better knowledge about this and everything surounding it
any recomendation concerning my needle clip position(currently at 3)? or my mixture screw?
My specs about my bike is in my signature plus im at sea level... i live by the ocean
