450r carb on a 400ex what do you think

thinking about putting a 450r carb on my 400ex. what does everyone thing. and where is a good start for jetting it. and yes i have read tons of other threads just dont have hours reading them all. lol

If your 400 is mostly stock you wont gain much, if its bored, hi-comp, etc then its worth the upgrade.

Lemme know if you want one, I got a powdercoated silvervein R carb that already has the adapter on it and the hose routed. All you need is to block off the hotstart and buy a throttle cable.

i have a carb just dont know if its worth doing it. i have a hi-comp piston and a stage2 hot cam

It would deff. wake the engine up with those 2 mods. Put a slip-on on it, grind the header welds on the stock header and put a UNI filter on it and it will RIP.

the other question i have will it have the same low/mid-range grount that it has now. i know it will have top end for days from what everyone else is saying. and i have a k&n and a motoworks slip on
