cr 250 ignition

anybody know if the 95 ignition is what is needed for the conversion? i just got in a bike to part out if it will work for anybody txt me 860 982 6592

The LSR R I just got had a 96 cr250 ignition in it and it ran fine with it.

2000~2001 year is what normally used in the conversions, because it is digital where as the older 1999 CR250R ignition systems & lower were anilog, just like the old TRX250R ignitions.

Even though the old model CR250R ignition systems were anilog fired, 99 & lower, they are far better than trying to deal with & make work properly the TRX250R stock ignition.
