Have a few more questions for you guys. I'm gonna change out my clutch cable and wanted to know what brand you prefer. It currently has a tusk and I'm not very pleased with it. It got really stiff and started grinding after just a couple riding trips. So I am thinking of going with motion pro. They offer there cable in a plus 2 length also should I get this to give me a little more clearance. Also what about a hydraulic clutch it would look pretty slick and would think clutch pull would be at a minimum. But how reliable are they is my biggest fear.

Motionpros are good. Keep it lubed and make sure it isnt getting burnt on the headpipes. I made a custom bracket to eliminate this problem.

Yeah I tried lubeing it but it didn't help. It seems to get worse after it heats up. I think the heat from the pipes are getting to it. Wether I go with a new cable or hydraulic I'm gonna wrap the next one in a heat sleeve.

A properly lubed cable with pull very easy. Get that +2 cable or a 250x clutch cable. That's what I use, it's prolly 4" longer than the stock 400 cable so you can keep it away from the exhaust much easier..

I wouldn't go with motion pro, in the last year I snapped 4 or 5 of them. They all snapped at the perch and I have had 3 different perches

Do the 250x cable and route it away from the headers or buy a stock cable. I wrapped my last cable in some vac hose to prevent burning.

I had my stock cable in for atleast a year or so. It don't touch the header or anything but it's kind of close to it, but still no problem with it messing the cable up.

+1 on the stock cable.

stock cable...nothing really compares in the long run.
