Tires for xc

What rear tires are you guys running for a cobra 70 shifter. Need something light but need ground clearance. Running XC.

Thats what i have on it now but are mounted on 9" wide rims. Wasnt sure if m940 were better or say a dwt 18x7x8 or razr 18x6.5x8
