BRAND NEW OEM PLASTICS-Made in MEXICO ???

I just went out and bought "NEW" OEM Honda plastics for the wife's quad....tired of the black painted ones that I picked up cheap when I built the bike for her from the ground up....When the boxes arrived I was like a kid at Christmas....then I looked on the Part Tag and noticed it said "MADE IN MEXICO"...it's stamped in the underside of the plastic too!

I thought HONDA made all their plastics for the 400ex in South Carolina ???

The parts are sourced from everywhere, they are however assembled in South Carolina.

I just bought all new plastic as well. I didn't even think about looking at the boxes to see where they were made. I wouldn't figure they were made in Mexico tho. Weird. Anyways, the wheeler looks great! I am in the process of building mine from the ground up also.
