installing sparks key and adjusting valves

for those of you that have installed the sparks +6 timing key.

how does this affect your valves? do you have to readjust your valves after installing the key? do you adjust the valves, install the key, and your good to go?

i read through most of hte sticky on how to install the key, but it never says anythign about vavles.


maybe im just silly and dont understand motors enough and this is a simple answer.

i have not installed the key. but i believe the key only alters your ignition time, thus your valves do not need to be adjusted.

The key has nothing to do with your valve adjustment.

If it has been a while, however, it is always a good idea to measure the valve clearance and adjust if necessary.
