13/39 setup

Im thinking about running a 13/39 setup on a set of razr 20x10x11. The 14/39 just isnt cutting it for me. What I wanna know is anyone out there tried or running this setup. What do you think about it. Im mostly trails, hills, and a back wheel kinda guy.

Its a 2004 400ex. With white bro exhaust maxis razrv 20x10x11. O ring chain.

what are you trying to achieve by changing gearing?

speed, acceleration, power?

400ex gearing isnt all that great, you only see real changes once youve severly modded the motor, I can pull 450rs on the drag strip with 16/39gearing and hit 70mph in 4th gear.

it depends on what you wanna achieve.

I used 12/36 to 16/40 for woods and mx riding.

It depended on what I needed to accomplish while I was riding in certain conditions.

Dont count on getting any real speed over 70mph with any gearing change, without doing heavy motor mods like bores and cams.
