Silly question. If I take out the brass weights in the shoes will that raise my stall.

Yes. When the shoes are lighter, they engage later. I think everybody leaves those out. Less rotating mass also.

I asked because,I took them out to get more stall and it seemed like it had less. I don't have a tac to check it

With the brass weights in it will give you more stall. If you looking for more stall install one brass weight in the middle hole then try. The lighter the shoe is the faster it hits (low stall)

Well heck, I guess I'll just add more weight and see what happens. Sounds backwards but I'll give it a shot.

More weight or a weaker spring and the clutch will engage at a lower rpm. If you get the shoes too light or too heavy of a spring and your clutch will engage at a higher rpm and may slip and get hot.

Around 6,000 to 7,000 rpm is the magic number I think.

Just to let you know.......Everybody doesnt take all the brass weights out.......If your a GForce rider, call Deal. He can tell you!!!

And our magic stall number was around 8000, or as close as you could get.

Just so I'm clear on this, more stall means it will engage at a higher rpm.Thats what I want because right now its engaging right after he starts giving it gas.

Yea I read that on here. LOL. That's why I said "I think". With the info he gave us 8k may be too high for him IMO. I shouldn't have said magic number.

Guys,It's all good. I'm just confused on how to raise the rmp. I'll just try it both ways.
Thanks everyone.,
