Rims and Tires

ok So I see all kinds of rims and tires out there so i'll ask the experts. What seems to be the best rim and tire combo? I see some people uses skinny rear tires and rims while others don't. BTW I'm asking for a MX Apex 90

If you have a strong motor the M940's by Maxxis with a 8x8 Rear beadlock wheel seems to be the hot combo, The new turf tamer seems to be awfully light also and I've heard a see more of the Hoosier rear tire this year. More than anything it's personal preference and rider choice. My son just seems to love the ITP Quad cross for the mini's. Plus ITP's are Made in USA!!!!!

I think the track conditions determine what size tire to use. I've seen tracks where quads were getting stuck in ruts because of small tires. At the local tracks I've been to, it seems like most of the minis are running larger tires nowadays.
