Decided to take the stop, headlight buttons off the bars. Love the clean look of nothing there now. Relocated the light switch to the frame rail under the plastic. Still easy to get to also. Next on the list is do away with the key just have a push button to activate the ignition. Have had the start button hidden for a while..

Looks a lot more clean. I may decide to do something like this to mine once I get it put back together. With everything on the bars it seems more cluttered. Nice write up.

I had mine like that long time ago when I did alot of freestyle and I also liked the look of it and it worked great. But after you ride on some muddy trails for awhile and you constantly powerwash mud off that's covering the switch cluster that's under the fender and then the switch gets clogged up with mud and stops working it becomes a pain. I ended up putting a kx kill switch on the bars for a starer button like others have also done and then rigged up a trail tech headlight switch to turn my headlights on and off. It's back to 'bein cluttered on the bars but I'm done using the 400 for freestyle so that's fine with me.

But I guess you won't have to worry about any of that when you ride your 400 once a month and then clean, polish and detail it immediately after riding it, lol.

That really makes the bars look clean. Can you post a picture of where you relocated the swith to?

I can, it is located about directly below the right side handle bar on the top frame rail. Will try to snag a few pictures.

Thanks guys, BTW hope to take this bad boy down the 1/8 mile in a few weeks.
