Has anyone ever seen an air tank as a gas tank on a quad? Pics? Because for my next hybrid build the location of the factory gas tank is not going to be possible so the gas tank needs to be in the rear which I was thinking of using a fire extinguisher air tank as a fuel tank between the sub frame which it holds a little less than a gallon. Was thinking make it look like a nitrous tank.

Unless it was heavily modified how would you put gas in it?

lol i dunno most air tanks dont have a screw on lid.

I have seen cylindrical hidden gastanks many times tho.

It would probably be easier just to build one, so that you can use the fittings that work best for you instead of trying to make something work that wasn't intended to be used like that. Just less headaches

There are many company's out there that make 1 or 2 gallon cylindrical fuel tanks. Google it! Or even eBay. I was think about doing the same thing for a while.

all the time on rat rods we use air tank but idk on a fire extinguisher. try a chinese scooter tank they mount on the rear and have a vacuum fuel pump
