idle adjustment

ok i have 148 mj and a 40 pj, and my quad will idle with the choke... but if i take it off it dies. Now i tried turning up the idle screw all the way up, and it still wont idle.. but when its all the way up, the slightest tab of gas will keep it goin. Does anyone have any idea on what to do? also it leaks a little bit of gas when just sitting... sight trip.. but constant

also i was thinking maybe the throttle cable is loose? would bumping the pilot jet up to a 42 help at all? Im already at a 40...

a 42 will only help if you take out the choke. Now you mentioned something about gas dripping. Check to see if the screw that lets the gas out of the bowl is tight, it could be letting gas out and thats why it wont idle.

nope its pretty damn tight
