fitting 450r swingarm to 250r ?'s

i know this has been on here multiple times but i just need to clarify before i attempt it. Can i bolt an 05 450R swinger to an 86 250R and use the 250r shock, link, carrier,axle and brakes with out any issues? and will it perform as good as the original?

As for me personally, I would get one of the adjustable 450r dog bones that are for sale and use it to help set the ride height to what it needs to be. Read the article and you will see what i mean.

This article also shows using a 450r shock. I wouldn't do that part either.

is the shock your using a 450r or 250r? and im guessing the chain lines up perfect with motor?

Yea, chain Lines Up Fine. And That's A 250r SHock.
