I have a whole carb off of a 03 Predator 90. Will that help

I was able to drill the seat out and flow enough gas. It lasted about 3 min before I burned a hole in the piston. I believe the octane was too low for the larger piston and High compression head.

I would look at replacing the carb with a kehin pwk 28mm d-slide.Also you are going to have to go up to some higher octane fuel.I would do no less than hand mix some 110 octane fuel with amsoil dominator 50-1 at least.To much oil will cause detonation and will blow a hole in the piston.

I have another person saying it was likely the oil injection was not working.

Burning to much oil(what oil injections cause these little engines to do) causes detonation which causes holes in pistons.Oil injection not working would likely cause the motor to lock up before it would put a hole in the piston.This is just coming from my past experiences
