it started as a quad and used 90% quad parts only difference is my trx450r frame got cut down and welded and then i put crf parts of front end

sure are pwhite and they are more fun than you would think and i tell you what if you can learn to turn a trike fast and get back on race quad you will dominate corners, that was my main goal for it because i had a 250r trike before the 450 it also had crf inverted forks and it was a awesome machine also and helped my corner speed for the quads

FYI to whomever is in charge of QOTM

Technically the 3 wheeler is a TPC 450

ATC is a model designation that belongs to Honda built 3 wheelers, just as you have TRX or YFZ or LTR for Honda, Yamaha, or Suzuki quads.

No big deal though, just thought I would clarify. Thank you for allowing a trike in the poll :cool:

thanks i noticed that im also glad it is allowed in the poll even being a trike it is still a ATV and thats what the site is all about

I don't have a problem with it. The rules don't say it has to have 4 wheels. Sucks telling my friends I got beat by a trike though. :D At least its a nice trike so I don't feel to bad.

Sick bike for sure, but still not a quad. Im not sour by any means that I did not win, but it's a 3 wheeler not a quad, none the less still sick, but not QUAD of the month mat. My OP

Hopefully this does not discurage other trike owners from entering. This is a ATV site and the trike was one of the original ATV's ;) There are soem prety sick trike builds on this site and they should not be excluded because some don't think they should be allowed!!!

No doubt, but then it should be changed from quad of the month to bike of the month..

I agree with you. The site as a whole is an ATV site, just because this contest is called "quad" of the month, I'm not going to say that trikes can't enter. I actually encourage more people to enter them. As well I know there are some sick 4x4 quads, and side by sides here. This contest is not just for sport quads, so I will encourage people to enter them. I have tryed doing a 4x4 only QOTM in the past, but never got a big enough following behind it for some reason.
