on my 300 i was riding the other day gassing it up around a corner and when i let off it continued to stay Wide open but the throttle wasnt pushed anymore. so its not like it was stuck open because it came back, do you think it has something to do with cable/carb or could it be internal with valve train? It has a webcam and hardednd rockers with ti retainers less then 30 riding hours ago so i dont think that would have anything to do with it unless its a faulty install. can you help me out please.

i took it out today and i got it running normal i got on the gas and it stuck so i revved it a lil higher and it de-revved. so i hit it again and it wouldnt rev down, (thank god for my revvlimiter)the only way i could stop it was pull the kill switch out.

^----that man has the answers. Sounds like th slide is sticking more than anything. Happened on the old snowmobiles all the time. Can be dangerous.

Mine did this during a race when the cable was squished by the gas tank, check the routing of the cable.

yea, clean the carb with some gumout or some other kind of carb cleaner and replace the throttle cable, you can lube it but i would just replace it to stay on the safe side

same thing happened to me. I was flyin around a corner and my throttle just stuck, scared the poop out of me. Turns out the throttle cable snapped and the cable stabbed into the rubber protecting the cable and held it.
