I will probably find out for myself tomorrow but it won't start, click & I don't get any lights, power/neutral/head nothing but if I bypass the solenoid it starts.

if its clicking with the light off you are getting power to the starter...i just had the same issue ended up having to replace the starter brushes

I would check your fuse. Sounds like the same symptoms.

not yet my brother is going to swap out the solenoid Sunday, if that doesn't work he said he is going to run a hot/kill button

We replaced the starter brushes last year because the starter was clicking. It doesn't do anything at all now. The fuse was blown but replaced with no change. Sucks I would like to ride this weekend and we are supposed to do our pre H/Mc ride next weekend. Thanks for asking though, I will keep you posted.

Check the wires to the starter and the grounds Tom. I had a similar issue and the starter bolt w/wire wasnt on there good.

If your not getting lights tho Id say its more of a ground problem.

Update:
We (my brother) started checking the connections and found the positive had been tapped into so many times the plastic was gone and it was pretty corroded.

We (my brother) hacked the connector off and twisted the wires together. Lights work and it kicks 4 out 5 times. He is replacing the solenoid tomorrow after we (my brother) solders and shrink raps the connections. Looks like I'm gtg thanks guys for your help.
