I plan on putting a TLR 1000 or aprilia rsv 1000 in my ltr once I sell my 450 engine. Swop should cost almost nothing since the 450 engine sells for around the same as a 1000cc engines. Reason for a V twin instead of an inline 4 is because inline 4 make you ruin how the quad looks and require a lot more modification. With the V twin I should be able to get away with no frame rail modifications other than needing to weld in new engine mounts. Trying to figure out if the aprilia 60-degree engine will fit better or the Suzuki 90 degree. In the end the quad should be around 50lbs heavier

tlr
135 bhp at 9500 rpm
98 ft·lbs at 7500 rpm

aprilia rsv
130 bhp at 9500 rpm
75 lb·ft at 7250rpm

An ugly banshee with a tlr in it.

Going Aprilia Rotax 1000. The 60 degree works perfect the 90 degree would not work because the rear header and rear shock :macho
