CDI worth the $$$

Is the CDI box worth the money to put on. Or is it a hype to increase the rpm that they do for your quad for the money. Always wondered.

unless you have some major motor mod's done I think its a waste of money- a stock 400ex motor stops making power at about 8000rpm [where the stock rev limiter starts kicking in] having your motor make any more rpm's than that is kinda useless[just my thought]??I have one on my quad but it was on there when i bought it...:D

i run a baldwin motorsports "no-rev" box and i love it...it helps a lot for me

with a stock 400ex...no motor work that is....a modded CDI wont do any good....they are unusable revs....but with a decked out race motor GO FOR IT
