What is the difference? Are the frames the same? Are the swing arms and the Arms different? Just asking because i'm looking to do some suspension upgrades and i see lots of stuff for DRR but not alot for Apex

frames are similar except for the front suspension.it's not interchangeable as far as the arms go but the shocke are depending on whether or not it's standard or long travel.the later apex's used a 14 1/2'' shock on the front and rear for their lt setups.the swingarm's are interchangable but again,it depends on shock length.our lt drr used a 12 1/2''-13'' rear shock for it's setup.i also think apex had a built in steering stem relocator on the later models and our 08 drr needed an atv fourplay aftermarket one.btw, let me know if you received the pics i sent to your e-mail.hope this helps.

We have had two or three of each
09 and up Apex has roundhouse swingarm (We and many others replaced with DC roundhouse swinger)
Camber adjustable Dual A-Arms
Slightly higher output motor (Back then)
Oil injection, lights and starter deleted from Apex
LT suspension 14.5 shocks all the way around, with Elkas available from Apex. DRR had 13.5 up front and 12" rear
The main difference is size....the Apex is just bigger.
We love them both

Ok thanks so since mine is a 2009 than it already has long travel suspension I really just need to upgrade the shocks and the swing arm.
