Why get new plastics when you could just get some bad *** graphics to cover your plastics? Unless of course your plastics are broken with pieces missing... But if they are just scratched, discolored, stained, etc, just get some graphics! http://www.amrracing.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=111

Id say full bore or laker over maier, but only the OEM plastics are as well built imho.

I have a ims oversized tank will any of those plastics fit without cutting around the tank area because I know my stock plastics fit but there bent out a little and don't fit as great unless I cut them some

ditch the tank and take the money you get from that and put it towards getting new oem plastics. all the others are just second too OEM. never going too need the extra gas

Fullbore will not clear the tank. Maier will. Im not sure on the lakers. And whats everyones beef with maier fenders? I think they are made better than my fullbores? Oems break WAY too easy. Nothing will fit as good as the oems like stated though

I have never cracked or broken OEM... The reason they crack for you guys is because they are 11-13 years old. dont you agree that the OEM plastic will last another 13yrs if purchased new. they are higher quality and thicker than other plastics. Anything OEM is going to be higher quality and made to last for the most part.

I have cracked many oem fenders. If you get too much mud on the underside of the front fenders they are prone to cracking. My ex was only a few years old when they cracked. Aftermarket fenders usually bend instead of cracking if you roll over.

The 400 is meant too be lightly trailed driven and on a track. I just don't see why people Baja them thru the mudd. Just buy a rancher and you will save alot of time and energy pulling yourself out. And abusing the little 400

I do not baja mine like a 4x4. I race crosscountry, it gets muddy sometimes. Should I just slow down ? Btw my 400 is not "little" it keeps up just fine with my 450r...Anyways when the front fenders get mud on the backside and you jump it , when you land thats alot of weight on the fender and thats usually when they crack. Or hit a tree!!

Cut your fenders if your worries. Don't hit trees usually not good

I kinda need the tank for racing xc I'm not taking a chance running out of gas and I don't need plastics that last 12 years I rather buy something I like and it last for a year or two over something I don't care for lasting forever
