I haven't seen it yet but it's all but bought by me.

'05 400ex with nerfs and full after market exhaust. IDK mfg of either or condition of tires.

I do know it needs a new chain and sprocket as well as bearing. Runs great....smokes a little (but so does our '03). Comes with clean title & maier cut racing plastics and original stock ones as well for
$500

Needs $200 worth of work right away...engine down the road. I will post pics when I go to pick it up...for a nickel I can't get hurt.

Theres a guy by me with a 99 400ex that has a blown motor, but it has pep shocks with rezzies, lonestar swingarm and axle.

its in alot of pieces but its all there.

wants $300 :eek2:

Im tempted to get it for the part out value and build another drag frame.

Nice. I bought a 07 raptor 700 for $700 and put new tires on it and cleaned it up and just sold it today for $2700. :devil:

Now im going to buy a polaris predator for $500 and flip it.

That is the same reason I keep the 400ex around...and we just bring it along as a spare if we don't have an extra rider just in case one of ours would happen to breakdown...which has only happened once. Balljoint was pretty loose on my wife's and I wouldn't let her ride it for fear it would fall out.

I been toying with the idea of getting a Polaris RZR but really don't want to ride in it myself much...the real problem is I don't want to give up any space in the garage for it sitting there most of the time. I'd like to get a few of married friends out there on quads but they won't go away and leave the wife at home. :( I figured this might be the ticket.

Nice find!!! Wish I had deals like that... the idiots around my house think their 500 pos is a gold mine because they have 3k in it at some point in the past 10 years.

Post some pics. I really wouldnt mind picking up a nice 400ex for a xc quad one of these days. They sure arent cheap up this way. $2500 minimum for anything decent
