I wanna cut my fenders really bad. Wondered if u could post some pictures of all the different ways u guys cut em. Or just explain it, thanks

Pencil the line on both sides.....hacksaw.....file, and or sandpaper to finish off.

tape them first so you can adjust it to exactly how you want it. Then just use whatever kind of saw you have and then go back and clean up the rough edges with a razor blade. Doesn't take long at all.

I like to get them cut and smoothed out then take a small propane torch and just barely touch the edge you cut. It makes a real nice clean factory edge, just don't get too close or hold the torch in one place too long.

Thanks for the advice junior636. To tell u the truth, I am trying to make mine look just like yours, your quad is saved in my bookmarks under the title "my favorite 400ex"Hahaha could u tell me exactly what u went through to put the hood on, and anything u would do differently if u did it again. I want to put it on in the next couple of days

The best tool by far for cutting plastics is a 4in grinder with a metal cut off blade on it.

It leaves a smooth and straight cut, the same grinder with the same cut off wheel can also be used to sand down imperfections.

I used electrical tape to mark off where I was gonna cut, then ran the grinder down the tape and I was done 4 mins later.
