Hi everyone,

I can't get a hold of the people at Burgard and wondering if anybody knows about bushing that would fit them.

2001 400ex with +2 a-arms (Burgard Cycles)

Any help greatly appreciated,
Thanks,

These are the ones I purchased for my Burgard Arms. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ModQuad-A-Arm-Bushing-Black-Delrin-16-Pcs-AR2-2-Honda-TRX400EX-Sportrax-99-09-/350725549551?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51a8df2def&vxp=mtr

I would assume the GT Thunders would work to,you could always give em a call and ask to make sure.I would like to get the poly ones over the Delrin but they have held up great for 3yrs so far.

easier to get in touch with Hellbound Racing. They will get you what you need from Burgard.

The inside diameter of my a-arm is 19 millimiters. (Thanks for the Hellbound Racing recommendations) I'll wait to see what Rioact has before ordering. My buddy is also checking with one of his friends to see if he can machine me a set.

Thats strange the ones I have are 20mm.I'd say give someone a call then or check with Hellbound Racing just to make sure.

Yeah I thought 19 was a strange number unfortunately I couldn't find my caliber so that's a plain-jane ruler measurement.

I'll go take a look again; and see what my buddy's friend can do. I don't need a whole kit so I might save a few dollars if he can machine me 2 bushings and 1 sleeve.

I'll let you know the real measurement if I ever find my caliber....It pisses me off when I can't find my things!

Hey Riotact,

I measured with the caliper and it is indeed 19mm (i.d. of the a-arm).

I got in touch with Hellbound racing but they haven't been able to reach Burgard as well.

Hopefully I'll hear back from them this week; everything else is ready and I can't wait to go riding!!! :)

I have a thought.I wonder if the bushings are +1mm over the size on the arms then.I just measured the od of the bushing. When I get back home I'll pop an arm off and check out the arm itself and let ya know.

damn based on your drawings, I am surprised you don't have the machines to make your own. :D

Everything is pretty much the same but my bushings have a .785 o.d. That is strange since they're both the same arms. Now I'm starting to wonder if my arms are even Burgards and I just happen to get lucky on the bushings.I didn't buy them new I ended up getting them off of a member on here so it is hard telling.Ill see if I have a pic of them to post here in a minute.

It seems like the bushings might not be for the chrome set you posted pictures of?

They look exactly like mine; but my i.d. where the bushing fits is 0.741" (just a tiny bit smaller than 0.75")

The bushings you have probably wouldn't fit :(

Thanks for taking the time to measure and post pictures though; it's very appreciated

Well I ended up getting a backyard machinist to make me a temporary replacement.
It's a shame suppliers don't even respond to customers who want to place orders....

Original and new bushings shown together.
