Looking at getting a 450R and want to know what the current market value is on what i'm looking at.

Specs are...
2006 TRX450R all stock
One owner (lady)
Haven't seen it in person but the pic's look good. Nice shape no cracked plastic but not showroom perfect.

Ready to ride everything's servied (so they say).

Selling because she han't rode it in almost 2 years.

Asking $3250.00

Fair price?

Honestly 450r's are a dime a dozen, craigslist is flooded with them. I'd offer $2500/
FYI in 2009 my 08 DS450 was $3999 from the dealer.
Sport quads have so little value in this economy.

Right now in MN not many to be found on CL that are what I'm looking for (06 or newer stock not modded).

I was thinking $2800 is the going rate up here but want more opinions. :)

Around here in the tri state area (NY/NJ/PA) most are asking about 2500-3500 depending on condition. If its in good shape Id offer 2500 and take it from there, Id not pay more than about 3 for it tho if you can.

I sold a 2007 Honda 450er with about 30 hours on it for $2,500 about 8 months ago. I only paid $1,500 for it because the engine was "locked" up. Based on what he told me, I suspected a particular bolt backed out. Sure enough it was exactly as I suspected. I took the sidecase off, cleaned up the threads and used threadlocker and that was it. I took it on a 3 day Hatfield trip and then sold it. I was going to sell my 400ex instead but the 400ex makes a much better spare quad for friends to ride.

I'm going to take a look at the 450 this weekend and if it's nice i'll lowball them and see what happens.

Seems like the 04-05's command more $$ than the 06+ around here... depending on condition

Around here in the NW you'd be lucky to find someone who doesn't want 3500-4000 for 06+ and 3200 would buy you an 04-05, so to me that price seems fair, but it all depends.
