View Full Version : How do i hard wire the radiator fan on my 2007 trx450er?

im looking to hardwire my fan for my radiator on my 2007 trx450er. the tab on the motor broke off so i kinda need to know how to so i dont overheat. an yhelp is appreciated!

If you connect the fan to the battery and it runs 24/7 then add a switch in between

Cut the wire to the fan plug at the sensor and ground it out to the frame.

WHich one Is the ground? There are a blue and green wire coming from the fan motor.

My wiring doesn't have the wire to the sensor In it. The guy before me took it out. I need a way to wire it without the wire to the sensor. How would I do that?

The fan wont run at all if theres no wiring to the sensor unless the guy grounded out the wire. If the wires are still there to the fan you need to trace them and figure out whichone went to the sensor and just ground out the one thats explained in the thread I linked.
