Not sure where to post this. I have a DWT sponsorship this season. I dont know whether to buy the V3 or V4 tires.

The V3 look like they can be turned around and used like new again.

All the pros run the V4 tire.... I race MX but not sure which direction to go.

Anybody have any opinions?

i don't have a comparison-based opinion for you but i can say i ran the V4 blue label last year and was happy with them. i liked them as much as the razr MX i ran before.

i was torn too when i was shopping.. not many definitive reviews or recommended applications for each tread. i think the V3 is better suited to hard-packed and bluegroove tracks from what i've seen. so it depends on what your tracks are like. i run the same tracks as bikes on the same day here in the michigan loam so the only hardpack i've ever seen is the flat corners at redbud on national weekend.

I prefer the v4. I have tried both and as far as performance goes they work better for me. The DWT compounds suck imo. They wear out so fast and i rip the lugs off of them. Not a good quality tire imo.

I ended up with v4 medium compound. We will see how they work.

Ive ran the super soft and the soft compounds and each of them were done in one weekend. Hopefully the mediums hold up well. right now i run soft compound goldspeeds and they wear very evenly and last much longer.

I got a nice surplus of goldspeeds when I heard they were going to be leaving the states but gps offroad products should have them soon for purchase.
