Anyone ever. Thought about putting the rope start off the recon on. Should mount right up.
or do they have different clutches that wont allow it to work.

We put one on my Wife's 2002 250ex and on her 2008 250ex. Should bolt right up. We have had to use it before and it was a lifesaver. They have a duel stator so the headlight will work even if the battery is dead.

I have the parts and am trying to install them. I having trouble removing the main bolt on the back of the crankshaft. I removed the rear shock and I am using my impact driver but it won't break loose. I'm sure it has loctite on it. The motor also wants to turn. Is there any good way to get this bolt off, or keep the motor from turning? Thanks.

There should a place on the flywheel to put a screwdriver to keep the flywheel from turning.
