View Full Version : Who makes hoods like the picture in my post? 400EX

Looking for a hood for a 2002 Honda 400EX like the picture I have attached or one similar to it. Looking for a black hood tho. In order for the hood to fit correctly will I need to use stock plastic? I am wanting to get Maier or Laker Custom plastic. But Lakers come with a hood that has a scoop in it already and I don't like that one. Any suggestions?

Or one like this? I have searched all over the place and can't find many like these. Have they been discontinued?

bottom looks like Quad Tech....watch for them on ebay, usually some r on there.

Alright will do. Who all makes these hoods? Quad Tech, Werx, Feather Carbon?

Have you tried ebay?

theres alot of hoods on ebay, try searching for 250r hood, 450r hood...etc.

Says this one fits 05-07. Would that work on 2002?

NO^ not without some modification. It would never fit exactly right.

No , If it was me i would buy 05-07 front fenders and a hood you like that fits them. This way you get a clean look rather than cutting up the older style plastic. Also the 05-07 front fenders should mount right up with maybe a little modification the the brackets
