2004 TRX250ex. Im replacing the clutch on it. After pricing all the tools needed in the manual it appears i would be in about 400 dollars just for the tools.

I need the following.
Centrifugal clutch holder $99
Puller $79
Compressor tool $54
Clutch holder $121
Collars for holder $74

So, is there any cheaper way around this??? Im positive i could make both holders. BUt the puller and compressor i could not.

Any tips?

are you looking at the honda tools. if so look up motion pro tools they are better and cheaper. alot of times certain tools are not nessicery and others are real life savers.

I can make both holders. But the compressor and the puller i will need.

Do you know exactly which one would work for that vehicle??? THey dont show a 250ex they do have a 300ex.

Thanks for your help.

The puller you can just use a 3 jaw puller rented feom autozone. I actually have a cheap harbor freight 3 jaw puller set that ive used on a 250ex a couple times.
