Does anyone know where I can get an adapter so I can install a 450R carb on a 400?

I just bought one from zrpilot, paid him today and he shipped it today.

I have been sitting on this 450 carb for almost 2 years. Really got to get it going.

I have an entire carb, already setup for conversion. Drilled and moved vent lines, and the adapter is already on it all done up. Even better is someone spent some coin silvervein powdercoating it (looks almost similar to the 400ex paint).

It was for a friend but they are selling their EX.

You can get a adapter at homedepot for $4.

Not a custom made aluminum one though. I was going to just make my own but figured what the heck a nice piece of aluminum looks nice and in the two years I have had the carb I never made it to home depot to find stuff to rig it up.

Your right its not a glue on, custom alluminum piece that needs the carb sanded down.

Its a clamp on rubber grommet just like the regular one on the 400ex.

All im saying is you could got to homedepot or lowes and be done for $4 or you could sand down your carb and pay $45 for a glue on alluminum piece that will make it hard to re-sell the carb if you ever want to.

So far no one has claimed it yet. I had some offers but no replies as of yet.

FYI: Mine is MINT and dang near perfect.

CJM it's hard to get anyone too spend any money at all! You've been around here awhile and I wouldn't hesitate buying anything from you! ZRpilot wants 55.00 shipped for his adaptors.

Yea I know kidz. The carbs themselves on ebay are 120+, 55 for the adapter and m work fitting it. id say its worth what Im asking,b ut moneys tight for everyone these days-me included.
