losing it

k thnx for all past help w my 03 . as of now we have changed the cam chain , it was stretched to thew point that it jumped time. so replaced that put it back in time and adjusted valves. the rocker w the decompression tab on it was broke so replaced it too. runs alot better but it is poppin through carb still and there is a ticking in the top of motor that doesn't sound right . any ideas? leakin gas too out the overflow. help please spring is comin and i wanna ride!!!

Your ceet for your float is stuck thats why theres gas leaking out.

popping through the carb is a sign of being to lean, if your pilot is slighty clogged and you ceet is stuck then it wont run rght.

Thankfully, these are easy things to fix.

k thnx, how do i fix the ceet? and do you think my jets need changed or resized? completely bone stock

Bone stock I would try a 155 main jet and a 42 pilot jet although its not 100% needed it will slightly increase performance.

The ceet can be removed easily, when your carb bowl is off you will see the tiny pin holding the float in place.

That pin will pop out if you press on it with a safety pin or paper clip or nail...etc.

Then your ceet will come out.

If your gonna buy jets, buy a 175, 170, 165, 160, 155, 150 and a 42 pilot.

youll have the jets you need now, then if you get future mods youll have jets for that to.
